The Peer Review Week celebrations have begun and how! As you have probably seen under Upcoming Events, we have a host of insightful panel discussions lined up for you throughout the week. In case you cannot make it to any of the events, I'll be sharing a report of the highlights for each session in this thread.

Day 1 Highlights:

The celebrations started with a really exciting panel discussion titled  “Perspectives from the academic trio: A deep dive into research integrity issues and challenges faced by authors, editors, and reviewers” on Sep 19. The panelists were renowned research integrity specialist Dr. Elisabeth Bik, the Director of research integrity and publication ethics at Wiley, Michael Streeter, and our very own @Christopher Leonard, Director of strategy and innovation at CACTUS.

We had over 800 attendees and loads of interesting discussions and questions around research integrity and peer review. For those of you who missed the session, I've shared some of the highlights in this article:

Day 2 Highlights:

Often, we forget to shine the light on the people behind complex publishing processes. Our second panel discussion, titled “Your golden ticket to the author, reviewer, and journal editor’s mind—experiences, stories, and more” aimed to explore the personal, emotional, and human side of navigating the peer review process. And what is more exciting for us is the panelists were our very own R Voicers @Erin Owens and @Andrea Hayward! A huge shout out to both of them for an amazing session!

In this article, I've tried to cover the session in as much detail as possible. In case you missed the session, do read the article and share any thoughts or questions you may have in the comments section below.
