One of the most harmful myths about mental illness is that once someone starts seeking help or going to therapy, their symptoms just disappear and they are no longer affected by mental illness. This is simply not true! Regardless of where someone is along their recovery journey, some days ARE more difficult than others.
In this part of the video series, our 8 speakers talk about these particularly difficult days, while explaining just how debilitating they can get. They open up about how challenging and time-consuming even simple tasks like such as getting out of bed, eating meals on time, taking a shower, brushing teeth, etc. can be on these days.
