Launching the R Voice Mentorship Program!

Are you an early-career researcher looking for someone more experienced to guide you on your research, academic writing, or help you with navigating PhD life? Are you a senior researcher with skills and expertise to provide mentoring support to young researchers?
If yes, we'd love for you to be part of the R Voice Mentorship Program. Here's how the program works:
Once you sign up, we will match you with a partner based on a needs vs. skills analysis. We will share the guidelines for the program and initiate an initial goal-setting conversation to help you get started. The program will be held online either over email or skype/zoom call based on the mentor and mentees' preference. Participation is voluntary and completely free. The details of time and ways to connect will be decided based on the availability and preferences of both parties. If you wish to participate in this program, please fill out the form below:
Note that if you are looking for subject-specific guidance, it may be more difficult to find a mentor since our mentor-pool is really small at the moment. If you need guidance on more generic aspects such as academic writing and publication, navigating academic life, career advancement, etc. it might be easier and quicker for us to find a mentor.
We are excited to see all of us build stronger relationships with each other through this program.

What a great programme! Yes, I agree that so many can benefit from being a mentor or being mentored. There is so much to learn from others, in either role.

Thank you very much for this initiative. I have filled the form and I look forward to receiving mentorship from one among the many learned people here.
